Est 2019

Tamara was a 2014, 2016 and 2018 Democratic Candidate for the Georgia State Senate, District 40.

As a first-time candidate, Tamara won the 2014 Democratic Primary and garnered 37% in the 2014 General Election against Senator Fran Millar

Not challenged in the 2016 Democratic Primary, Tamara garnered 44% in the General Election, again against Senator Fran Millar.

However, in 2018 a race-race was ran against Tamara in the Democratic Primary by Sally Harrell and Tamara lost her bid for the Georgia State Senate.

Never losing her commitment to serve in her district and to serve all Georgians, Tamara started the "Tamara For Georgia" internet broadcast to inform Georgians about legislation under the Gold Dome (Georgia State Capitol) and to hold elected officials accountable.
