  • Establish the legal definition of the American Descendants of Slavery (ADOS), establish a federal agency to collect, manage and maintain a national registry of ADOS and create policy to address the needs of ADOS including but not limited to reparations in the form of cash payments, low-to-no interest home loans, low-to-no interest small business loans, set-aside opportunities for government contracts, college tuition reimbursement, student loan debt cancellation and funding for HBCU's.

  • Raise the federal minimum wage immediately from $7.25 per hour to $10.80 per hour to match Executive Order 13658, then incrementally to $15 per hour. 

  • Support a comprehensive, affordable public health care program that ensures that every American has health coverage that includes a cap on prescription drug costs and opioid addiction preventative measures.

  • America has a crumbling infrastructure and jobs can be created to rebuild our roads, bridges, drinking water systems, wastewater plants, rails, schools and affordable housing with sustainable, clean energy systems. 

  • Legalize marijuana 

  • End private prisons, detention centers and cash bail.

  • End mandatory minimums 

  • Police department reform and Police Officer re-training

  • Abolish the death penalty

  • Protect the 2nd Amendment

  • Expand background checks

  • Report on multiple and mass purchases

  • Close the gun show loophole

  • Strict penalties for gun dealers

  • Equitably support and fund our K-12 public schools, pay raises for teachers, free tuition at public colleges, universities and HBCU's and the cancellation of all existing student loan debt.  

  • Georgia farmers need support and resources to build a sustainable farm economy that raises incomes and protects the environment. 

  • Support and fund rural hospitals and health centers.

  • Ensure that rural Georgians have high-speed internet connections.

  • Restore the full protections of the Voting Rights Act by requiring preclearance (permission for changes that affect the voting process) from states that have a record of voting rights violations.

  • Humane and respectful treatment of undocumented Immigrants at our borders.

  • Allows Immigrants a pathway to citizenship that first addresses the needs of American Descendants of Slavery and Americans who are the working poor.

  • An economic agenda incentivizing businesses that invest in countries that support Immigrants transitioning back into their home countries.

  • Work to pass the Equal Rights Amendement, strengthen and protect women's rights.

  • Ensure that LGBTQ + people are not discriminated against because of sexual orientation or gender identity.

  • Establish a commission to study the need to raise health and safety standards for the Beauty and Barber Industry.
